The Brief

Among other treatments on the façade, there were a large number of vertical aluminium fins, which were detailed as a structural steel frame clad in aluminium sheet.

Key Challenges

There was an emphasis on quality, commercial viability and value-for-money, which required practical and cost-effective solutions.

Our Approach

We designed and engineered a solution that utilised the Solaris clip-together extruded aluminium profiles, resulting in rectangular single-piece vertical fins ranging up to 6-metres long and over 1-metre deep.

Result

The overall cost of the façade was reduced, along with on-site installation time.
