Two minutes walk from the beach, the apartments provide the ease of apartment living in a relaxed environment. The apartment building spans 6 storeys, offering sea views from level 2 upwards. Constructed from solid concrete and steel, the exterior was designed to make a visual impact without requiring a burdening upkeep, in-keeping with the casual elegance of coastal living.
TO THE DESIGN REALITY
A key element of the exterior aesthetics is the 'floor to ceiling' sliding grating. Operable and able to slide in place for solar control for both the balconies and windows, they provide an ever moving contrast against the light coloured external cladding.
The powder coated grating is a low maintenance and cost effective way to provide functional control for increased occupant comfort. It's simple to use and perfectly suited to the laid-back, care-free environment of apartment life.
