This purpose-built facility is a world class training centre for one of New Zealand’s major industries; travel and tourism. Located in the Auckland Airport Business District, the $3.6M Centre is a landmark building designed by The Buchan Group to house a Boeing 737 fuselage used for training purposes. Extensive glazing showcases the plane to the street and is popular with travelers and locals alike.

The building's clean simple design and extensive glass panels showcases Insol's SOLARIS louvres, with the contrasting colours and textures.

Solaris 240 louvres were chosen by The Buchan Group architects to enhance the street appeal and provide texture to this facade. The functional nature of the facade reflects the purpose of the building. This is where airline hostesses train to keep us safe in the 'Unlikely event of an emergency'!
